High School Spring Musical
Annual high school musical production that normally takes place in late February.
Date of the 2023 show “GREASE: School Version” is February 24- 26 at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts. Click HERE to visit the CCPA website to view available seating and purchase tickets online. Please note tickets purchased online will incur an additional fee (10% of the ticket order). To avoid this online convenience charge, call during CCPA Box Office hours and purchase your tickets over the phone: 319-248-9370, Wednesday–Thursday–Friday 12:00–4:00 PM then you can pick up your tickets prior to the performance at the Will Call counter. The CCPA Box Office is currently only open for walk-up sales one hour before each ticketed performance.

“GREASE: School Version” is a musical about American high schoolers that features music in the rock ‘n roll style of the 1950s. Shorter and more suitable in content for teens and subteens, this abridged version retains the fun-loving spirit and immortal songs that make Grease a favorite among rock and roll fans of all ages. Presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., a Concord Theatricals Company.

Join us February 24- 26, 2023 at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts, as Regina presents Rydell High’s senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding “Burger Palace Boys” and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies” in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as “Greased Lightnin’,” “It’s Raining on Prom Night,” “Alone at the Drive-In Movie” recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation.
