PISA (Parents in Support of Arts), has evolved to provide support to the Regina Elementary and Regina Junior/Senior High School visual and performing arts programs. Through vigorous fundraising and promotion of the Fine Arts at Regina, PISA strives to create an enhanced artistic environment in which students can grow and thrive.
Regina PISA 2023 Fall Mum Sale

If you plan on buying mums this Fall, please consider purchasing them from Regina Parents in Support of the Arts (PISA)! All proceeds go to support the Regina Fine Arts programs for K-12th grades! Just $15 per large beautiful Mum available in various colors (Yellow, Orange, Red, Pink/Purple)
Deadline to order is Monday, Sept. 11 at 12:00 pm. Pre-ordering is recommended. A small quantity of extra mums will be ordered for purchase on-site but to guarantee the color you want will be available pre-order is strongly suggested.
PICK-UP DATE: Your mums will be available for pickup on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, from 2:30-6:00 pm at Regina’s front parking lot. *Must pick up at this time unless delivery option was purchased*

High School Fall Play –
Annual high school theatre production performed on the Regina stage in fall or early winter.
Date of 2023 show “12 Angry Jurors” – November 10, 11, & 12.
The High School Fall Play auditions and cold read are coming up in mid-September and is open for students in grades 9 – 12. The play is a classic: 12 Angry Jurors! The cold read is a great way to learn more about the play without any need for experience or commitment! If there are not slots available for the cold read left, please come and see what’s it’s all about anyway!

PISA Greenery Sale Fundraiser –
Annual fundraiser selling a variety of styles of wreaths and Christmas greenery. Delivery the beginning of December just in time for the holidays!
Cake Auction – January/February
Occurs annually during one of the basketball games in January or February. Cakes and cupcakes (both store bought and home made) are donated and and are displayed in a Silent Auction with all proceeds going to support K-12 Arts at Regina. Always popular are the student created cakes made in the Family Consumer Science Foods Classes! Volunteers are needed to donate cakes and help at the auction table! High School Spring Musical
Annual high school musical production that normally takes place in late February.
Date and title of the 2024 show are TB. Perfromance will be held at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts.
Jr. High Play
Annual junior high school theatre production which occurs in the late spring.
Date and title of the 2024 show are TBA.
Pops Concert – April
Occurs annually during the spring and features the talents of Regina High School band, orchestra, choir and visual arts students. Admission is $10/adults and $5/students which includes bleacher seating and free pie/dessert during intermission. Tables of 6 are available for $70 and include reserved floor seating at a table of 6, table service of pie/desserts during intermission, complimentary sparkling cider, popcorn and chocolates. Tickets will be available in advance online and will be sold at the door.

BECOME A CLASS REPRESENTATIVE!
Class representatives attend the PISA monthly meetings to help plan, organize, and recruit other parent helpers from their class for upcoming events including plays, concerts, talent showcases, and fundraisers. If you are interested in becoming a class representative please email Shane Schemmel.

Our proceeds go directly to the Fine Arts programs and teachers at Regina.
These funds have provided:
- $1,000 in funding of extra projects for each Arts Teacher/Coach/Director per school year
- including equipment/supplies/activities for K-12 art, music, band, orchestra, drama, choir, and speech.
Funds for three major drama productions each year - Arts improvements over the past several years such as:
- New in 2022 ** New stage lights system and lighting control board
- New in 2022 ** New K-2 Music Banner Photo Backdrop
- New speaker systems in elementary and HS gyms
- Renovation of the elementary/junior high art room
- New microphones used during Masses and drama productions
- A new front stage curtain in elementary gym
