United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties has a volunteer list you can be added to. You pick the kind of volunteering you are looking for and it sends you notices of volunteer activities here.
There are various one time and ongoing volunteer opportunities, everything from planting trees, donating blood, being a photographer, picking up trash, helping younger students, shelving the food bank donations from organizations such as Crowded Closet, Ameri Corp, Table to Table, The Iowa Children's Museum, Salvation Army, the Red Cross and more. You can search by job type, age restrictions, etc.

Summer volunteer opportunity specific to Neuroscience
Regal Learning Program pairs older students or adults with students who need additional academic assistance. Applications to help tutor others can be found here and turned into the main office. For more information, contact [email protected]
Check with your coach or with the Regina Activities Director to see if volunteers are needed with various camp opportunities.
The booster club is often looking for concession stand and ticket taker volunteers (both adults and students). The Regina Fish Fry fundraiser events Fridays during lent is all volunteer run and in need of volunteers each year to serve food, bus tables, etc. Contact Carolyn Sueppel in the Activities Office at [email protected] to get connected with these opportunities.
Regina is often looking for people to help with various projects around the facilities and grounds. Examples: raking mulch, pulling weeds, picking up trash.
