The Regina Silver Cord Program was created to encourage and recognize students for their service activities. These service activities, while helping the local community, also develop responsibility, citizenship, and leadership skills in the students involved with the program.
Minimum hours needed to receive designation (cumulative from grades 7-12):
(Note, this is a minimum requirement. Students can report as many hours as they have volunteered.)
Students in grades 7-12 who have made significant progress towards their goal will be recognized at the awards ceremony in May.
If all requirements and hours are met by May 1 of a student’s senior year, the student will receive a special certificate and a silver cord honor to wear at graduation.
