Good morning!  Here are the announcements for Tuesday March 28, 2017

No band lessons today.

There WILL be junior high jazz tomorrow morning.

3rd period go to the cave

4th to the Library

8th Mrs Welter’s room

  Any boys interested in playing football next year in grades 8-12, there will be a meeting on Thursday at 2:15 in the MPR
 

The bulletin board in the library now features the bookshelves of some famous people like Oprah Winfrey, Madonna and Ernest Hemingway.  If you want to enter the contest, you need to take a photo of 8 or 10 books on YOUR bookshelf and send it along with a photo of yourself (we’ll use your school photo if you don’t send one).

Once received, your name will go in the drawing for a gift card.

See your email if you want to see an example I sent last Friday.

Drawing will be held next Tuesday.

 

 

Wednesday: Truman State 12:30 during the HS lunch

 

Also, let Mrs. Zoulek know if you would like to talk with the Simpson College rep this week. She will be here Thursday, if we have interested students.

 

 

Cubs vs Cardinals

 

TODAY we will be having a fundraising contest for After Prom.  We will have jars in the front entryway.  The jar with the most money will win.  If we raise $500, Mr Foley will wear a Cardinals shirt AND Mr. Plummer will wear a Cubs shirt for Opening Day, April 3rd.  

This means if you want Mr Foley to win.. fill up Mr Plummers jar…visa/versa

 

  JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS!!!  Wear your favorite tye dye and join us for a spring celebration!!!!  Saturday April 1 from 7-10 pm sponsored by the Post Prom Committee
  Prom tickets will be on sale from Monday April 3rd-April 14th.  The price is $20 per person.  You need to bring cash or a check made out to Regina and get your tickets from Mrs. Welter’s room.  room 206.  If you do not buy your tickets during those 2 weeks you can still buy them at the door but they are $25 then.  Thank you. 
 

Only half of all senior photos were received before spring break, so the yearbook staff are extending the senior portrait deadline to April 14th

. Please provide us with a JPEG copy of the photo of your choice, and please consider a senior quote to submit before the April 14thdeadline. Send all photos/quotes along with any questions to neil.tunnicliff@regina.org. Thank you for supporting Regina!

  United Action for Youth is hosting a Teen Spring Clothing Drive on April 11. Their goal is to collect as many clothes as they can to benefit Johnson County youth. There will be a clothing drive box in the teacher’s lounge until April 10. Please bring in any clothes you wish to donate.
