|The ICR Future Career and College Fair will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019 in Cedar Rapids. Start planning for life after high school by visiting with more than 100 exhibitors representing colleges from across the country, ‘Earn As You Learn’ apprenticeship programs, military programs, and more Iowa business and industry leaders in one afternoon. This is especially useful for sophomores and juniors, as they plan their futures. The fair is Sunday, March 31, 2019 at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center (7725 Kirkwood Blvd) in Cedar Rapids from 12:30 to 3 p.m.|
|The Regal Association will begin rehearsals April 1 and continue on all Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30-8:15 a.m. culminating with a performance on the Pops Concert on May 3rd. Sign up is on the Activities Office window.|

|We’re looking for help behind the scenes with our junior high play, Sherlock Holmes and the 1st Baker Street Irregular, which will be performed at Regina April 26-27, 2019. Course Registration for the 2019-2020 school year is in full swing. Registration forms and the $100 registration fee is due to the Jr/Sr High school office no later than March 29th. ____ Kirkwood Community College in Johnson County is offering summer courses for students currently in grades 8-11th grade. These classes allow for high school credit and college credit and are free of charge. Course: – HSC- 168 Nurse Aide (must be 16 prior to the start of class) – CON-322 Estimating for Construction and Architecture (a Weblive online course) – CON- 932 Construction Internship – CSC-142 Computer Science Kirkwood will be accepting registrations until each section fills or until the registration deadline which is April 1st. College Representatives to visit Regina in March: March 27: St. Ambrose, Davenport —– Mark your calendars: current Sophomores and Juniors are encouraged to attend the college fair at Iowa City West High school on March 28th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. More information will be out later regarding this. —- A Note about AP Exams AP Exams for all subjects will be during the first two full weeks in May. All students currently in an AP course (or completed a semester AP course during semester 1), will automatically be ordered an AP exam, per school policy. If a student would like to take an AP exam, who didn’t complete a course (take the AP Chinese test because they have been self-taught, or completed an independent learning of an AP subject), they are to sign up with Mrs. Zoulek no later than Wednesday, March 27th.
