Regina Catholic Education Center is excited to announce a donor-funded project to enhance our baseball and softball facilities. Initiated by a private donor, renovations will begin this fall and are set to finish before the next baseball and softball seasons, supporting Regina’s long-term goal of providing state-of-the-art facilities for our students.
“Having state-of-the-art facilities is an important part of Regina’s mission to support our students in all areas, including athletics,” shared Taylor Hotek, Regina Activities Director. “This generous gift allows us to make meaningful improvements that will benefit both players and spectators for years to come.”
Planned Softball Enhancements include:
Replace the existing backstop with a modern nylon net and pole system to improve fan viewing.
Extend dugouts to provide additional space for players.
Planned Baseball Enhancements Include:
Replace the existing backstop with a modern nylon net and pole system for enhanced fan viewing.
Construct new dugouts to enhance the player experience.
Install a new infield playing surface designed for improved performance and drainage.
These fully-funded upgrades will enhance safety and functionality while also improving the overall experience for our athletes and community. We look forward to celebrating the positive impact of these enhancements with the Regina community next spring.
“This project is an exciting step in our vision for Regina’s future,” said Angela Olson, Head of School. “Our donor’s generosity makes it possible to continue to make improvements that reflect Regina’s commitment to excellence in all areas. We are excited for these new enhancements, benefiting current and future Regals!”
